Two 8th grade girls from both Gold and Blue volleyball teams share their experience playing.
“We made some good plays, but we weren’t working as a team and we weren’t as loud as we usually are. Something we could’ve worked on was calling for the ball and actually going for it because sometimes we call for it, and another person calls for it, and we just stand there. My favorite part of that game was getting a good dig,” Gold team player Novae Leon-Fountain said.
Leon-Fountain shares that while they had good plays, they have some room for improvement to do better in future games, which is always good to recognize.
“We had a lot of good hits and we were really good at communicating. Some not so good parts were sometimes our energy was down, but overall, we did pretty good. One thing we can improve on is communicating better with each other,’’ Blue team player Nora Smith said.
Smith shares that they got some good hits, but they too need to work on communication as a team.
The Gold and Blue teams both did great playing that game, and while both teams have room for improvement, they showed strong partnership, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
