On March 6th, 2026, CJHS Students have a day free from school. Meanwhile, teachers still have to come to work. Students and teachers have different looking days on March 6th.
“My favorite thing to do on a day off of school is to go shopping at Somerset,” CJHS student Lucy Navarre shares. She also likes hanging out with her friends and enjoying the relaxed day off.
Student Sophia Gutierrez’s day off looks similar to Navarre’s.
“I go to my friend’s house and relax on off days,” Gutierrez said.
Teacher days look a little different though.
“On March 6th, we have a Professional Development Day, where we meet with our subject areas in the morning, and our buildings in the afternoon. We discuss how we can better our classrooms, teachers, and school. I definitely miss seeing my students on meeting days,” Teacher Mrs. Dennis shares. Teacher days are more productive than student days off.
