Since last week, the biggest thing that’s been happening in school has been the mention of the Pep Rally, more commonly, the friendly battle of 8th graders vs 9th graders competing for Cook’s Dairy Farm ice cream for the whole grade that wins! The Pep rally is scheduled for May 1st with various games of 8th graders competing against the 9th graders. The following games scheduled for the pep rally include: big volleyball, ball tuck relay race, dice stacking, pizza box knockout, and dump the bucket.
So far, in the lunchroom, three games against the two grades have already occurred. The 8th grade won the first game of keeping a ball in the air as more got added as time went on, then the second game the 9th grade snatched the win in musical chairs in a heated 1v1 at the end where a chair almost broke during the final stage of the game. The third game was to see who could name more, starting with stores ending with presidents, which 8th graders wrapped up quick with another win.
The biggest question now is; who will win? 8th and 9th now 2 to 1, both incredibly competitive to win this ice cream. Make sure you dont miss out to see who ends up with the prize during the Pep rally on May 1st. 8th graders in orange and 9th graders in blue, who’ll end up on top? Will 9th grade bring it back with a win to tie everything up? Who truly wants it more?
