Many adore the male lead, Wes Bennett. Readers often feel he carries the book with his kindness, vulnerability, and how he isn’t a typical “shallow jock.” Many find the female lead, Liz Buxbaum, to be relatable with her grief and her love for romcoms and music. While others may see her as a “bad friend.”
“My favorite scene in this book is probably the party scene because it leads onto the book and was very funny to read,” CJHS student Harmony Stubbe said.
“I rate this book a 4.5/5 stars because it was a really enjoyable book to read,” CJHS student Addison Omer said.
CJHS student Grace Gonzales also shares her love for the book, “I would rate this book a 4.5/5 stars. I loved the main characters and I adore the author’s writing style. I read it around a year ago when I was first getting into reading. It’s a super simple and easy romance to read. This book is 100% worth reading.”
