On March 13, 2026 the movie Reminders of Him came out to theaters. The movie was based on the Colleen Hoover novel.
This movie was an instant hit; within the opening weekend, it gained 18 million dollars just in North America, and went on to make 79 million dollars worldwide.
Reminders of Him is a heartbreaking, tearjerker, second chances, grief, romance movie starring Tyriq Withers, Maika Monroe, Rudy Pankow (played JJ in the show outer banks), and Lauren Graham (played Lorelai Gilmore in the show Gilmore girls). The movie brought in a huge audience, mostly pulling in females.
CJHS student Lilly Acosta explains her favorite part of the movie, “My favorite part was when Kenna reunited with her daughter, because it was just so sweet and wholesome.”
“I would give it 4 out of 5 stars because I loved the drama and it was a great movie, especially to see with friends,” CJHS student Keira said.
The movie focuses on a female named Kenna, who was put in prison for leaving her boyfriend to die in a ditch after a terrible car wreck. In prison, she discovers she’s pregnant with his baby, but she is ripped away from her the second the baby girl is born. When released, all she wants to do is see her baby, but it may not be as simple as that. In time, truth is revealed, feelings shown, along with a whole lot of tears and drama.
CJHS student Ava Teller explains if she would watch the movie again for the first time, “Yes I would see this movie again if I could because the plot of this movie is so good. I went with a group of my friends and it was overall an amazing experience.”
Reminders of Him is a new movie that has gained popularity and successes. This is a must-watch movie with friends or family.
