As many know, girls’ high school soccer is starting up soon. Many freshmen girls are excited, many are nervous, and there are a bunch of mixed feelings. The first year of high school soccer is stressful, exciting, nerve-racking, and much more, so I decided to take a closer look at how people feel about it.
Freshman student athlete Lily Smith shares her feelings about high school soccer coming up, “I’m really excited to be included in a high school sport and get to experience things outside of my comfort zone. “
Exactly. School soccer is so exciting, especially when you’re experiencing new things and stepping out of your comfort zone.
The next freshman is Izzy Johnson. Johnson shares how she feels about the upcoming high school soccer season, “I’m excited that I will be able to play with my friends.”

The next Student athlete is Avery Marshall. Marshall shares how she feels, “I am excited to play soccer for the school because it is a great atmosphere and the coaches are amazing. All of the girls are very nice and welcoming, and playing school will keep me in shape for my club season.”
The coaches and girls a part of Clarkston High School soccer are very nice and welcoming. The team has a great atmosphere overall. I am also so excited for high school soccer! It is going to be so fun playing with all my friends and peers; this is going to be a great season. Go Wolves!
