The difference between people is part of the beauty of the world, like the difference between the ocean and the sky–both beautiful but in different ways. This goes for stories as well. Everyone’s lives are so different, like a snowflake, no two are the same.
The story of a barista at Honcho named Grace Gomez is one that has not been told. We only touched the surface of the person formed by her experiences, but we got some insight on her personality.
“What lessons has my work life taught me? I’m gonna say to be patient,” Gomez stated. As someone who works in customer service, patience is a necessity. You never know what’s going on in someone’s life, and sometimes they take it out on you. Whether they are snappy when you talk to them, are upset about spending money, or unhappy with what they ordered, it always seems to fall on you. This is why having a positive attitude, and a goldfish memory is important as well.
Patience is a virtue. You never know what someone has gone through or what they’re dealing with currently so the best way to deal with negative people is to be positive.
