Her phone rings constantly, and clients change their minds all of the time. No day is the same for realtor Pam Ford Morgan. To her, unpredictability is what makes the job meaningful. Behind every house, there’s a story.
“I was a single parent of two children, and I wanted to go into a business that had no income ceiling because the expenses were going to be terrific. Also, my whole family was involved in sales,” Ford Morgan explained.
Growing up in a family also involved in sales inspired her to pursue real estate. Even though the job is very stressful and competitive, she saw it as an opportunity to create a stable lifestyle for her kids, while still doing something she enjoyed.
What keeps her most motivated is the connection with people. “I love people, and every day is different. The challenges are great,” she said.
