*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* you’re on 2 hours of sleep; you stayed up all night doing homework because you had soccer practice, and you didn’t study for the 2 tests you had today. So, you rush out the door to study in school. After this, you have a teacher who tells you having the grade above is going to be much harder, and how you need to do better because your grades are dropping. And now, you have exams in a week. This is the average life of a kid in school.
First, school is causing stress on 80% of students worldwide. Stress can lead to headaches, muscle pain, high blood pressure, diabetes, anxiety, depression, and sleep problems, and this all leads to one problem, school. The kids are the future of the world and they’re already getting treated like adults. Living a lifestyle as a kid, with stress on your hands 24/7 is a pretty hard life if you didn’t know that can also lead to self harm. This is just part of what stress is doing to kids and causing so much harm to kids mentally and physically.
Secondly, moms wonder why their kid is having such an attitude with them all of the time. 60%-80% of attitudes are from school, causing stress on kids. This not only affects kids in school, it also affects kids outside of school which again can be harmful for a student physically and mentally. When you have some stress on your shoulder that’s fine because that helps you learn to be better for adulthood. But when you have stress like school, it’s a whole different level. If you fall behind in class, especially in Honors or AP, you will be stuck with an assignment behind all of the time. And this isn’t just for higher school students, this is also for younger kids like middle schoolers.
In conclusion, school is causing worldwide stress and needs a limit of work, days at school, and the amount of time students are there.
