On September 28th, downtown Clarkston was packed with people for the 27th annual Taste of Clarkston. People gathered downtown to try all of the food and be with friends and family. The Taste of Clarkston is a celebration with live music and fresh food.
“I walked around with my friend and used the tickets to buy food at the stands,” 8th grader Elle Siwek said.
I think this sounds so fun and that a lot of other people would agree. It is just as fun to eat food you like and walk around with your friends. The Taste of Clarkston gives great opportunities to do that and it brings people and communities together.
“I like going because I can spend time with my friends and family and I can walk around and try all of the stuff they have,” Siwek said.
I think that everyone would have a fun time walking around with their family and friends and just eating food. It sounds like a dream, but this could also help the restaurants that were there giving people food. It might help them get more customers and get them to be more popular, and that could help their business.
People work together as a community to set up for the Taste of Clarkston. All of the staff works together to have happy customers. The Taste Of Clarkston always turns out great and families can spend time together on a nice day.
“We went to the Taste of Clarkston because it has become a tradition for us to do with our local friends each year,” Clarkston resident Jenni May said.
The Taste of Clarkston isn’t just food, it also helps to benefit businesses. They attract people to their stands with wheels to spin and free stuff. This makes people notice and maybe want to purchase other items they sell. Though food may be the thing people most look forward to, it also benefits the restaurants and is a fun entertainment for customers.
“I like the Taste of Clarkston because it brings the community together and is a fun day to support local businesses,” May said.
The Taste of Clarkston was so fun this year and everyone enjoyed it. The Taste of Clarkston is a favorite tradition for many and people look forward to it each year.
