Lillian Moore, a freshman at CJHS, cheers for Champion Force Athletics. We got to hear from her about what it’s like being on the team and some of her favorite aspects.
“My favorite cheer move would definitely be stunts,” Moore said. “They are so fun!”
A supportive and uplifting figure in Moore’s life is Hanna, her coach. “My favorite thing about Coach Hanna is that I can tell her anything and she would never judge me,” Moore explained. “If I mess up, she doesn’t get mad. She understands that I make mistakes.”
Moore has cheer class pretty late at night and she wishes it was earlier. “I have to go to bed really late on a school night,” Moore elaborated. “By the time I shower and do other stuff…it’s 10:30.”
Moore cheers Division 4 and she is very passionate about being a part of that community. “I love D4 and I like that we have a smaller class because it’s like we’re all one big family and our coaches are all amazing,” Moore said.
Lillian Moore’s enthusiasm for cheerleading, her appreciation for her supportive coach, and her strong sense of community within Division 4 show the positive impact that dedication and teamwork have on a young athlete’s life.
