Melissa Hills, a parent working 2 jobs, started teaching and tutoring a few years ago.
“I have been teaching for 17 years, in Pontiac for 3, in Farmington for 10 years, and I’ve been in Walled Lake for the past 4 years,” Hills said.
She dedicated her work to kids; she wanted to direct her focus to helping children in developing and shaping their minds and personalities, and becoming the people they want to become.
There is no greater joy to Hills than “the successes.”
“My kids work so very hard just to catch up to their peers,” Hills said.
She puts her kids first and loves how passionate they are or aspire to be.
From my personal experience, Hills is very outgoing, open, and she is not scared to talk to kids our age. She makes you feel comfortable, smile, and keep a positive attitude.
Hills is such a sweet person and has such a nice and genuine personality. She cares deeply about her students, which is shown just by how she talks and by the work she does. Everyone should start taking notes from her because they could learn a lot!
Hills, with 17 years of teaching experience, is kind, caring, and dedicated to helping students succeed. She believes in kindness and supporting others, as everyone should, and influences the people in her life to carry out that same kindness and support.
