A lot of different fashion trends have come and gone, but many Clarkston students have opinions on what they reach for.
“My least favorite fashion trend is the cheetah print hoodie or jean chains because people don’t know when to use them or they will use them with the wrong outfits or the wrong chain. It looks so horrendous,” CHS Sophomore Mady Wolfe said. “My favorite fashion trend is when people have jeans and a tucked shirt.”
I think that some people just can’t pull off jean chains, or can’t wear them properly. Then, it just ends up messing with their entire outfit and looking off.
“My least favorite fashion trend is camo hoodies because people don’t style them the right way,” Freshman Kinley Cummins said. “My favorite style is a pastel top with baggy jeans.”
In my opinion, camo hoodies are cute because they can be styled right, but I do think that they’re very overused.
“My least favorite fashion trend is people who wear jorts [long jean shorts] but don’t style them…that’s diabolical,” Freshman Zoi Brown said. “My favorite style is 2000s or Y2K.”
Personally, I also love the 2000s style. I think it’s so cute and retro. My favorite trend from the 2000s is mini skirts.
Overall, Clarkston students have strong opinions on fashion trends, favoring some styles like Y2K and classic jeans, while disliking others like cheetah print hoodies and camo hoodies. Personal style and confidence are what truly matter.
