On October 4th, CHS students and the 9th graders at CJHS went to Homecoming 2025 and we all had such a blast!
Student Bella Wright is a 12th grader at CHS who went to Homecoming with her boyfriend, who also goes to CHS.
“The theme was good, but I feel like it could have been more, and I would prefer this year’s theme over last year’s because they had fun activities for everyone to do,” Wright said. “I thought Homecoming was very memorable, as it is my senior year, I felt like people were getting bored after the first hour, like there were only three stations of different activities and the rest was dancing. I felt like I was walking laps around the gym a thousand times in one go.”
Personally, I definitely think there could have been more activities to do.
“Next year, they should definitely include more entertainment and maybe more drinks because I remember my freshman year very well. There were so many activities, food, drinks, and more; dancing should not be the only entertainment because it could get very hot and people were throwing water all over the floor causing slipping hazards. So overall I liked it but for $30 it could have definitely improved a lot,” Wright said.
“I went with my friends and before the dance they came over to my house and we got ready together,” 9th grader at CJHS Kinley Cummins said. “I thought the theme was fun and creative.”
The theme was Rio and the decorations were amazing.
“I didn’t think there was too much that needed to be changed, it was so much fun,” Cummins said.
Everyone had such an amazing time at Homecoming.
