The theme for the game was neon, illuminating the stands with bright colors of pink, yellow, and blue. The watchers exhibited lots of school spirit as they cheered on their team. They could also enjoy a variety of snacks and drinks from the concession stand while following the game.
Not only was there the game to enjoy, but halftime was a great show for the crowd. First, varsity and junior varsity dancers took to the field and performed an amazing routine that captured everyone’s attention, even spelling out “We Love Clarkston” with their poms.
Clarkston student Tenley Dasuqi (9th) on the JV Dance Team said, “It was a great experience and I had so much fun with my team!”
Next, varsity, junior varsity, and freshman cheerleaders took to the field and performed a cheer, uplifting the crowd’s mood. 9th grader Lila-Reay Dwire on the Freshmen Cheerleading Team participated during halftime at the game. Finally, to bring it all together, the band, along with the color guard, played their signature songs while the color guard danced along with them.
