This Friday, October 3rd, was the Homecoming football game at Clarkston High School. The Wolves played against Lake Orion at home and they won by 21 points, the final score being 42 to 21.
8th grader Claire Walsh spoke about the football game, saying, “Varsity played well because they had good passes and they worked well together.”
Walsh explained how the team worked well together, “They got lots of touchdowns and won the game.”
“The team [Lake Orion] was weak, and there was an obvious difference in the scoreline,” said 8th grader Emelie Saulitis about her thoughts on the game.
“The announcer made it very clear and easy to follow exactly what was happening on the field at all times,” Saulitis said. The announcer did a good job sharing what was going on even if you couldn’t see what was going on while getting a snack at the concession stand.
In the end, the varsity Homecoming game was more than a win; it was an awesome night and a big success. The stands were super loud with everyone screaming of laughter and joy. Great job Clarkston Varsity Football team!
