Autumn is here, and I’m hungry. All I can think about is my favorite fall foods. Here is a list of my top 5 favorite things to eat during the season.
#1 Apple Pie
This is many people’s favorite dessert in general, but especially during the fall. Many people love having it with whipped cream and cinnamon or vanilla ice cream too.
#2 Turkey
It’s just such a warm and calming food. Turkey is often associated with food coma because so many people have a food coma after eating Thanksgiving dinner, which the main dish is Turkey.
#3 Stuffing
This and turkey are the best part of thanksgiving. Don’t let the name fool you, many people could eat this for days.
#4 Chicken Pot Pie
I love pie, and having pie for dinner is a win-win. The thought of walking into the kitchen and smelling chicken pot pie screams autumn to me–the warm crust, the tender chicken, the perfectly seasoned vegetables.
#5 Caramel Apples
Many kids love caramel and it’s a great way to get them to eat their fruits. Nothing says Halloween like trying to get caramel off of every surface in your house, including the dog.
These foods are perfect for cozying up on the couch while watching your favorite Halloween movie, or sharing a meal with your friends by the fire, wearing flannel.
